How do you convince a pig that dirty water is dirty water? All the pig’s life that’s where the pig has known – raised and nurtured. It has agreed that it is the right place to be and the way to go.
How can you argue that the same place is suddenly bad for the pig? The way you see the world is different from how others see it. Don’t condemn how they see the world because you’re convinced the way you see the world is better.
To help anyone see the world the way you see it as better, you need to first accept their reality without condemnation. Then, gently show them your perspective and watch how things play out.
